Subversive Media @ UFF Festival

Subversive Media is one of the selected media platforms to perform a showcase at the upcoming UFF Festival (Underground Family Festival) that will take place in Barcelona next october 12th (Carpes del Fòrum, from 5PM till sun comes up) You can get extra info on UFF, location, timing, complete line-up, sponsors or the list of netlabels, regular labels, collectives or platforms participating on it at www.myspace.com/uffbcn.

The organization of UFF has communicated to all the artists and platforms involved the complete line-up of the festival, and we’re pleased to announce that we will be opening it at zone 2, the largest tent with a huge capacity and great technical equipment.

Subversive Media Showcase @ UFF
- 5PM – Zone 2 (Large) – Hiroshi Oki live
- 6PM – Zone 2 (Large) – Roger Mercader dj set
- 6PM – Zone 2 (Large) – Nikto live/dj set

Also, some of the artists who are currently working with us will play there, participating with other collectives or labels, as the time of every showcase is limited by the big amount of artists and formations playing at the festival. Watch out for:

- 9PM – Zone 2 (Large) – Negat live (Pong Musiq Showcase)
- 3AM – Zone 2 (Large) – Bitmut (Regular Showcase)

Electronic Dance Music

Electronic dance music (EDM), is a broad set of percussive music genres that largely inherit from 1970s disco music and, to some extent, the experimental pop music of Kraftwerk. Such music was originally borne of and popularized via regional nightclub scenes in the 1980s. It is constructed by means of electronic instruments such as synthesizers, drum machines and sequencers, and generally emphasizes the unique sounds of those instruments, even when mimicking traditional acoustic instrumentation.
